Chance Meeting (Luna and Enzo)

It had been a couple of days since the events at the park had taken place. Meeting both a shinigami and an arrancar was quite an event, but now he simply lounged out at yet another cafe, this one located downtown, the hustle and bustle of the city far more apparent down here than the park. He drank his Sapporo while finishing off his meal, enjoying his day off. Finally, he'd be able to spend the large paycheck he had received this past week, most of it probably going towards material goods, but hey, it was his money and he'd spend it the way he spent it. His thoughts went back to that day, and he began to wonder what exactly became of the female arrancar from before. It was unlikely that they'd cross paths again and this was something that Enzo regretted. He had as many questions of her as she probably did him, but that was life.

Through some...unexpected events, her target had managed to escape her palms. Her master had told her, that if she returned empty handed, he would kill her on the spot. It sounded cruel and heartless, but that was how Ulquiorra was, a man who saw it pointless to have a fraccion that failed him. Luna had learned to accept how her master saw the world, in fact she had begun to see it the same way as his, even picking up some of his personality habits. With her often emotionless expression and tear alike symbol under her left eye, she bore some minor resembles to him. It had come to a surprise for some of the espada, that Ulquiorra had chosen a fraccion who could fight on par with most of the espada`s. It wasen`t that she was useless or anything, they just suspected that having a too strong fraccion would mean they had trouble obeying. They had been proven wrong, Luna was a modified arrancar who was seeking a place, becoming a fraccion meant she had a new purpose for her life, that now Aizen was gone.

As the wind began to pick up around her, she let her eyes wander back onto the streets. The wind caused the lower part of her uniform and long hair to flutter around her, as if it had a mind of its own. Her target was a two digit arrancar known as Romeo. He had, for unknown reasons, killed off a couple of other two digits and then fled to the human world. The assignment was a minor one that should`t take more than a couple of hours, yet due to the constant patrols of shinigami, it had been 3 days now. Romeo`s ability of complety masking his reaitsu gave him an advantage when it came to hiding, but it would end soon. Luna had tracked him to be hiding somewhere in downtown Karakura, a bothersome place to search through. The female arrancar used sonido, and appeared down at the crowded street, turning her head to the left and right to see if he was in that area.

It had been a while since Enzo had the time to have such a delicious meal without interruptions, and he seemed to have gotten lucky this time, having finished just before hearing screams. It seemed someone had just been mysteriously slaughtered on a nearby sidewalk, blood spraying and entrails littering the ground. This had to be more than a freak accident, especially when a second civilian suddenly exploded in the same fashion. People ran for their lives way from the scene, causing downtown to almost become empty in almost a couple of minutes. Though it appeared to be happening out of nowhere, Enzo could see the culprit plain as day. A male arrancar stood there, his hands soaked in blood as he continued to pull apart at the humans. A soft sigh escaped Enzo's lips before he stood up, usually not one to stick up for such unimportant people, but randomly killing wasn't something Enzo necessarily condoned.

He decided he'd take this guy out in a matter of seconds, not one to elongate a battle longer than it needed to be. He concentrated for a split second, activating his second seal and employing use of his Hyrenhyaku and appearing before the male. Before the arrancar could react, Enzo quickly shifted his right arm into the form of a blade, punching with all his force towards the males chest, hoping to impale his heart and be done with this nuisance.

Vincenzo`s blade was stopped by a short katana, sending sparks into the air. The wielder of the katana was a 6.2 foot tall male with a femine face, long black hair that was tied into a braid reaching all the way down to his waist, and a slender build with a fair amount of muscles. The number twenty four was tattoed onto his neck, half hidden by his black and white uniform. His uniform had a basic design, yet the sleeves was much more narrowed than the common one, making them hug his arms. The male with the long braid took the other arrancar by the arm, using sonido to get around 15 feet away from Vincenzo, a safe distance if you had to counter or defend a attack. ".Don`t hurt romeo...", the male spoke in a angry tone, revealing the killing arrancar to be named Romeo. "Ulquiorra-sama already sent his fraccion after him..its hard enough for him to stay hidden from her...i won`t allow him to die..". The long haired arrancar stepped up in his full height, letting Romeo rest behind him.

"Do you know what you are doing, Vincent?", a familiar voice sounded from behind Vincenzo. Luna, as always dressed in the non revealing uniform with her katana hanging at her right hip from the belt, stepped up on Vincenzo`s side, her hands being concealed by the long sleeves. "Lu-Luna-chan!?..n-now hold on a minute, let me exsplain". "There is nothing to exsplain...you are here to prevent me from killing your brother..your attempt at explaining would simply be lies", the female spoke, cutting him off with a direct tone of speaking. Luna looked up at Vincenzo for a moment, reconizing his face from a few days before, quite a coincidence to be meeting him here. She turned her attention back at the two arrancar brotheres, She lifted her left hand so it became visible from under the sleeve. For some reason the two arrancars got scared, did the movement mean she was gonna attack?

Enzo let out an audible sigh as he felt his blade being parried. Interruptions were something he loathed, but even more so, he loathed when someone joined a fray and had a speech to go along with it. Before Enzo could continue his attack, the intruder made use of his sonido, taking the arrancar known as Romeo and moving about 15 feet from their original position. The words the arrancar continued to speak were of little importance to Enzo, mostly because he didn't understand exactly what the male spoke of, hence making it unimportant. He moved to follow up their movment with a quick one of his own, the best strategy being to attack relentlessly, since he found it safe to let up his guard and speak, attacking full force quickly and accurately would prove effective.

Before he could employ this attack, he heard an all too familiar voice, causing him to crack a smile. It was the female arrancar from a couple of days back, and now she stood behind him, speaking directly to the arrancar in front of him. It seemed they both had a common enemy, and these two seemed to fear her, giving him a glimpse into how important this female must have been in the hollow world. Standing straight up, he simply reformed his arm, turning his head to the side. "Such a pleasure to meet you again, sorry about my rude exit the other day...." He smiled sincerely before taking a step back, allowing himself out of her way and free to do what she wished with these two in front of them.
